2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® near Friendswood, TX

The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® returns as a fully reengineered touring motorcycle built for high-mileage performance and long-distance comfort. With the integration of the most advanced systems by Harley-Davidson®, this model brings engineering-focused refinement across the engine, chassis, electronics, and aerodynamics.
Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 Engine
At the core of the 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® is the Milwaukee-Eight® VVT 121 engine. The engine's displacement is 121 cubic inches, and it produces 139 pound-feet of torque along with 115 horsepower. The design features liquid-cooled cylinder heads that manage operating temperatures more effectively than previous configurations. Variable valve timing adjusts camshaft phasing to optimize torque across a broad RPM range.
Fuel injection and a high-flow exhaust system complement the air- and liquid-cooled system, aiding throttle response and efficiency. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.
Redesigned Batwing Fairing and Wind Management
The Batwing fairing has undergone a complete structural and aerodynamic revision. Using computational fluid dynamics and wind tunnel testing, the design prioritizes wind deflection around the rider's helmet and torso. This revision addresses wind buffeting and turbulence more precisely than prior Harley-Davidson® Street Glide® fairings.
LED lighting is integrated into the structure of the fairing. The lighting array includes turn signals and headlamps in a seamless housing to reduce drag. The headlamp uses segmental LED modules that provide broad beam coverage during night rides.
The windshield angle and fairing shape both guide airflow above the rider, redirecting turbulence away from the helmet while retaining a clean frontal profile.
Suspension and Frame Integration
The 2025 Harley-Davidson® CVO™ Street Glide® is fitted with SHOWA® 47-millimeter inverted front forks. These forks use a cartridge-style design that improves rebound control and stiffness.
The rear suspension includes an upgraded set of shocks featuring adjustable hydraulic preload. The adjustment knob is located under the side cover and allows riders to configure the suspension based on payload.
Braking and Safety Systems
Braking is handled by Brembo® components with dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. The system is integrated with cornering-enhanced ABS and traction control. The sensors measure lean angle and wheel slip, adjusting brake pressure and torque delivery in real time.
Electronic linked braking distributes pressure across both wheels during emergency stops. The calibration has been refined for the 2025 model to allow for more gradual modulation, especially when braking during cornering.
Infotainment and Display
The 2025 model includes a 12.3-inch color touchscreen display powered by Skyline™ operating system. The interface is minimal in design and uses software that supports map rendering, media playback, and Bluetooth® device integration. It replaces the analog gauges entirely. Instrumentation such as speed, RPM, gear indicator, fuel level, and trip computer are now digital.
Riders can operate the display through hand controls or by using the touch interface when stationary. The system also includes a quad-speaker audio configuration powered by Rockford Fosgate®. Two speakers are embedded into the fairing while two others are mounted in the saddlebags, offering balanced audio output even at highway speeds.
The infotainment system is Wi-Fi capable and supports real-time map updates. It also pairs with the Harley-Davidson® app for route planning, diagnostics, and maintenance alerts. The visual clarity of the screen remains consistent in different lighting conditions due to the anti-glare surface and brightness adjustment feature.
Lighting and Visibility
The entire lighting system is LED-based. Front lighting includes a wide beam LED headlamp with adaptive illumination. Rear lighting is integrated into the saddlebags. All lights, including indicators and brake lamps, respond quickly to inputs, enhancing visibility to other motorists.
Turn signals are self-canceling, and the rear lighting includes run-brake-turn functions built into the tail assembly. Brake lighting is modulated during emergency stops for increased rear visibility.
Ergonomics and Rider Positioning
Seat height is measured at approximately 26.7 inches when laden. Floorboards are wide and support multiple foot positions for extended rides. Handlebar positioning places the rider in an upright touring stance.
The seat is designed with dual-density foam for pressure distribution over longer periods. It includes a contoured rear section for the passenger and incorporates a rear grab strap. The fuel tank holds six gallons, contributing to longer intervals between stops and fewer refueling breaks during highway travel.
Storage and Practicality
The saddlebags are hard shell and locking. They provide 2.2 cubic feet of storage space and are designed with integrated hinges that open with minimal resistance. The bags are sealed to prevent moisture intrusion and can store full-sized helmets or riding gear. Saddlebag lids open from the side, enabling access while the bike is on the side stand.
The bike also includes USB charging ports, a keyless ignition system, and proximity-based locking for added convenience.
