Which Class Should I Take

Which Class Should You Enroll In? 2-Day or 3-Day?

We now offer both versions of the MSF NEW/BEGINNER Learn to Ride and M-Endorsement classes. Here’s how they differ so you can choose the best fit for your learning style and experience level.

3-Day Class (3x5x10) – Best for True Beginners

This is the original, traditional MSF format with more in-person instruction and a slower pace.

What’s Included

  • Online eCourse: 3–5 hours (must bring printed certificate to Day 1 — state rule)

  • 5 Hours of Classroom Instruction: Instructor-led, with time to ask questions and interact

  • 10 Hours of Riding: About 5 hours per day over two days

  • Required Book: $3 Kindle version on Amazon (written test questions come from this book)

  • Final Tests:

    • Written test (must pass)

    • Riding skills evaluation (must pass)

Who It’s For

  • Complete beginners

  • Riders who learn better with in-person teaching and guidance

  • Anyone who wants more time, more explanation, and more instructor/peer interaction

2-Day Class (ep1x11) – Best for Fast Learners or Those With Some Experience

This class eliminates the traditional classroom day. All major instruction is done online in a longer eCourse.

What’s Included

  • New Online eCourse: 6–9 hours (must bring printed certificate — state rule)

  • Minimal Classroom Time: 1–2 hours max

  • Go Straight to Riding: 5 hours per day for two days

  • Automatic 100 on Written Test: Because testing is built into the online eCourse

  • Final Test:

    • Only a riding skills evaluation (must pass)

Who It’s For

  • Students with some previous riding experience

  • Those who are computer-savvy and can complete a longer, test-based eCourse

  • Riders who don’t need extended in-person classroom instruction
